How to use The gentle nature of this balm means it can be used all over the body including the face. However, do not use as a lip balm. Dampen your beard using warm water. A little goes along way so start with a pea size amount of the balm into your palm, then work it through your still-damp facial hair using your fingertips.

Soft, snow white bubbles leave your skin feeling smooth and refreshed. By using traditional methods a natural glycerin is created which helps to moisturise your skin while the base cleanses.

    • Cedarwood

Cedarwood has natural anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties which can benefit your beard. Helps to neutralise the growth of any bacteria or microbes that may linger.

    • Lavender

Lavender essential oil is known for its relaxing properties. In skin care is versatile in helping with dry skin, eczema, dermatitis, acne, burns and inflammation to name just a few benefits.

    • Lemon

Lemon essential oil is known for being uplifting and refreshing. In skincare can be used for greasy skin and acne.

    Our Soaps

Our soaps are handmade for us by a lovely family business on the Devon coast.

Their soaps are made in small batches, using traditional cold compress methods. Many of the ingredients they use are home grown or foraged locally.

Each soap is naturally moisturising and will not dry out your skin, even on sensitive areas!

    Use & Care Guide

Care for your new beard wash

The glycerin in our soaps draws in moisture, which makes it fantastic for skincare but if you store your soap in a soap dish with no drainage it can suck up water and start to get very soft.

To ensure your soap lasts as long as it can, use a soap dish with lots of drainage like the dishes available in our shop.

    Using beard wash

Natural beard wash are very different to others and take a while for your hair to adjust.

    1. Start by wetting your hair and bar.

    2. Rub it between your hands to make it foam.

    3. Use the bar directly on your hair and lather from roots to tips.

    4. Massage the foam into your hair and face until all hair is covered – this shouldn’t take too long!

    5. Rinse thoroughly.

You may find that you benefit from a vinegar rinse after each wash or use your standard conditioner until your hair has adjusted.

    Vinegar rinse recipe

    You will need:

    • 1/3 white distilled or cider vinegar

    • 2/3 water

    • A few drops of your favourite essential oils.

    • A Spray bottle.

    1. Put all the ingredients into your spray bottle and shake to mix together.

    2. Wet your hair.

    3. Spray liberally and rub in well.

    4. Leave for a few minutes then rinse thoroughly.

*If you are in a hard water area you may need to increase the vinegar in the recipe.
